On Sunday September 6th, 2009 at 11:00 AM the "Tent of Abraham" that was built next to the Ponterosso (between the churches of San Antonio Nuovo and San Spirdione), opened its hospitality to the event participant and the general public. The tent have been exotically adorned with oriental furniture instilling an atmosphere of lush festivity. Accordingly delightful middle-eastern food was offered to all guests by the Jewish Community of Trieste. It was awe inspiring to see many participants from different religions and sects sitting together, breaking bread in an harmonious way. Special appreciation is due to the Muslim representatives that honored the 'welcome tent' with their dignified presence in the midst of their Ramadan fast.
